Here at T-Sticks we had the amazing opportunity to take part in the World Food Innovation Awards (WFIA). The evening took place in Excel London’s Hotelympia, and was in association with FoodBev Media.
The event placed emphasis on start-up innovation in the Food industry and HORECA sector, and T-Sticks were honoured to have been a part of it. FoodBev Media director Bill Bruce said of the event: “The pace of change and real innovation demonstrated in the wide variety of entries in the second annual World Food Innovation Awards is evidence that the international food and beverage industry continues to deliver for the consumer. From exciting new flavours and ingredients to clever convenience packaging and measurable advances in environmental responsibility, the awards highlight the best of the best from both established companies and a growing number of start-ups. T-Sticks was selected as a finalist in the Best New Beverage Concept category, amongst other fantastic and innovative products. This was of course no mean feat for us as the judges were presented with over 240 entries in 20 different categories from 25 countries around the globe.
Products were judged on both innovation in branding and in the product itself, making T-Sticks a welcome entry into Best New Beverage category (if we do say so ourselves!) We’d like to thank all the judges at the World Food Innovation Awards for your time and consideration!
